First and foremost, I am a lover of Jesus. He has walked by my side all of my life, and if I am to boast of any creative talent or ability, all praise goes to Him! Before every function I pray, as it’s not my creative genius you see, it’s His, I am merely the vessel, and happy to be that!
I am a wife to a fantastic husband and a mom to three beautiful kids: the eldest a boy, and two beautiful girls. As a family, we have weathered many storms together: in health, finances, a special needs daughter etc etc etc and come out more closely-knit as a family with the Lord as our Rock!
I am a passionate pharmacist for more than 20 years now, a profession I would choose again if I had to. I love being able to help and advise people on their health and healthy living, and since having kids of my own, this has made me a better pharmacist!
I love spending time with friends, am an avid reader, have run many a marathon and ultramarathon and am currently a “triathlete-in-training”, something that hubby and I have a shared passion for.
People who know me well and who would have to describe me in two words or phrases would say: coffee and golden retrievers! I do love my caffeine and my true, bubbly personality only really emerges after my second cup of the day! I’m besotted with golden retrievers (what, you mean there are OTHER dog breeds?!), we own two, if we lived on a farm, I would for sure sneak in another 50 at least!
Then lastly, and maybe most importantly to YOU who may find yourself here, on this page, I absolutely ADORE dreaming up exquisite, jaw-dropping parties and events! There is nothing as rewarding as taking a party theme, brainstorming everything I can about it (and how I can make it look different to anything seen or done before) and then seeing it come to fruition on that One Pretty Day! Many of my clients and kiddies shriek or cry with delight, which makes my heart burst with elation, and the extremely hard work so rewarding. It’s why I do it again and again and again. I strive to be the best that I can be in this business, to stand tall above the rest with the intricate details that I’ve become known for. There are many party planners out there, but I want to be known for the way in which I lovingly and lavishly go all out for my client, and the little details that everyone ‘ooh’s and ahhh’s’ over!
