13 years ago when our middle child, Isabella, was born with Down Syndrome, nothing felt bright and colourful and I was convinced I would never claw my way out of that dark space. Needless to say, I no longer feel like that and this child is a complete character and ray of sunshine in everybody’s lives! With her birthday in December, it’s the perfect time to let loose and go wild with Colour and everything happy to make my now-teenager’s day super duper fun!!!! Cue the sunshine, toucans, tutti fruity tropical fruits, ice creams, unicorns and pool floats galore!!! Kiddies got rid of their sugar highs in the pool and went home with pool noodles, tropical fruit pool balls, felt toucans, flamingo fluff (Candy floss), pineapple drinking cups and calico fruit segment ‘party packs’ packed with extra fruity yummy treats! Moms are just as important, so they had fun at the Mom-osa station and were spoilt with tropical leaf tote bags, strawberry jams (thank you Berry much!), nail polish (mani thanks!) and watermelon and lemon body washes as well as fruity pot holders!!! Isabella has taught us all ‘Toucan do anything!’
